What is iru and what is it used for?
iru is a cloud-based platform for endpoint management, identity management and compliance automation. It is particularly optimised for Apple environments and enables organisations to centrally manage Mac, iPhone and iPad devices, provision them securely and document them comprehensively. Does iru also support Windows or Android devices?
iru's focus is on Apple operating systems (macOS, iOS, iPadOS). For mixed environments with Windows or Android, Denkform recommends combining iru for Apple devices with Microsoft Intune or another UEM solution for the remaining platforms. We support you with planning and integration.
Can iru be linked to Apple Business Manager?
Yes. iru is fully integrated with Apple Business Manager (ABM). Devices procured through ABM can be automatically enrolled in iru and configured ready for immediate use – without any manual setup by the IT team (zero-touch deployment).
