A client from the architecture information sector. A large-scale project required 1,500 Apple iPads to be shipped to a variety of customers. In preparation, an MDM was set up for the client that automated the setup of the iPads right from the start.

As part of this automation, an app was set up and configured for the client’s customers, giving them access to a wide range of media topics in architecture.

Execution

The client submitted an Excel spreadsheet with delivery addresses every day. The devices were registered in the MDM and delivered in the client’s branding, including a CI delivery note, booklet and protective case. Serial and tracking numbers were documented and provided as proof. Invoices were issued according to the spreadsheets, and service handling and subscription cancellations were carried out on the client’s behalf. Returned devices were inspected, reset and refurbished.
